THE WAR ON DRUGS HAS BEEN LOST, YET SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS ARE STILL TRYING TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE POT IS HARMFUL AND EVIL.
ABC NEWS BLOG PUT OUT THE MOST MISLEADING HEADLINE EVER, ASK YOURSELF WHY? THAT WOULD BE BECAUSE THE PRESS IS OBVIOUSLY BEING USED AS A TOOL BY SOMEBODY TO ACHIEVE A GOAL UNKNOWN TO US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The headline: Day 1 of Legal Pot Marred by Deaths at Alleged Wash. Growing Center
The truth: The grow center was illegal, the people shot were burglars (black masks and all)
This is yet another example of the media trying to manipulate what people think.

They got invaded because pot equals money ( a resource that the invaders can sell for money w/o much hassle) not because it is pot itself. The Truth • 2 hrs 9 mins ago Anyone else find that headline grossly misleading? It seems to imply that there were two deaths attributable to the new Washington state marijuana law, instead of the truth which is that two burglars were shot dead during a home invasion burglary attempt.

papa smurf 17 mins ago Jason, the reason you need an M16 is because when the federal govenrment comes to steal your land, a simple handgun probably won’t be enough. I woudl recommend carrying heavy weaponry. It’s your right and a good ivnestment when it comes to maintaining your individual sovereignty. That is by the way an institutional belief in America.

Are you aware that the latest studies indicate that marijuana shrinks cancerous tumors– and quite effectively– or that it eases the pain and pressure from glaucoma, or that it assists those on chemotherapy to maintain an appetite? As for the mental effects, have you ever smoked it? sure doesn’t sound like it, so you seem to be basing your opinions on thin air….. maybe a hit of that smoky air you so despise might actually allow you to unclench your #$%$ and enjoy life….

Note, in CA, since 1/1/11, possession of one ounce (28.5 gms) or less of marijuana s only an infraction, punishable by a maximum $100 fine + fees with no criminal record under Ca Health & Safety Code 11357b. Not legal but close. Now lets legalize all non-thc hemp!!

They’ve had laws against marijuana for over 7 decades. Usage continues to grow, efforts to legalize continue to grow, and the medical community continues to study positive effects as medication. (That alone should strike it from category 1) The government needs to adapt. If they do not, they will continue to waste our money on a fight they can never win. Prohibition is a glaring example of where this will end eventually.
